He reminds me so much of my son, Colin. The blonde hair and big eyes. I so wish we could bring him home to be apart of our family. We can't :( but I know there is a family out there who could.

Darby was born in August of 2009. He is only a few months younger than my son. I can't imagine Colin having lived his entire 2 1/2 years of life without me, his dad, or his sisters. Without a family.
Poor Darby has done just that. It is his turn to be snuggled, sung to, rocked, and loved on.
Could you be the one to do that? I think so!
Darby was born with Down syndrome and a congenital craniofacial disorder. Last November, he had his first surgery which led to a huge improvement in his growth and development. Darby is an active and curious toddler. In those few months since the surgery, he started sitting and crawling well, and is now able to spend a lot of time playing with toys. To continue to grow and develop, Darby really needs a loving family!
Update, Sept 2011: Darby is expected to have an additional plastic surgery in the next few years. He is developing within the range of his age group, and has no health issues. He was born from the healthy parents and inherited very good health. Darby is a very kind and friendly boy; he likes to play with other kids and share the toys.
He sounds like such a sweetheart. If you would like more information on Darby or would like to donate to his adoption fund please go here:
